Getting through it didn't make me feel good or happy, it made me feel relieved because now I can start NG+ and never have to worry about going through that awful DLC again.įor me I loved the challenge the boss fights presented, the demon prince first phase was fantastic because your dealing with 2 huge demons and the fight feels like a struggle to survive let alone get a hit in right away! Then once you think it's over another giant fucking demon!!! Does this demon just do a couple swipes at you and maybe breathe some fire? Naw. It's extremely poorly made and is hands down the worst purchase I have ever made in a game. The whole "feel" of the DLC is just awful. Midir and Gael are only somewhat difficult because of their enormous healthpools, and this is just poor design. I mentioned the difficulty being artificial, and with that I mean that everything just has more HP than it should have to give it a false sense of difficulty. Gael is great, but a bit too long in my opinion. Why is there forced pvp? (second boss) Yes, I know you can play offline but that just puts you against some half-assed attempt at a boss. Everything from traversing the "map", to every single enemy is just annoying. You can tell that everything is designed to be as annoying as possible, and the difficulty feels artificial. I feel like I'm the only one who thinks this, so I am prepared for the downvotes.īut in all honesty, I think this DLC is terrible.
